Welcome to the first edition of the Calne Running Club newsletter! We hope it finds you well and that you’re still keeping to those new year’s resolutions!
We feel that as a club we should give our members a big ‘well done’ on their achievements each month. In this first edition, we’d like to celebrate our achievements and give a round-up of what our members have been up to during December. It’s been a chilly month, but a busy calendar, so forgive us if we’ve missed anything (and let us know so we can add it to January’s newsletter).
We’ve had a strong representation from Calne Running Club throughout December, with more than 20 runners across more than 6 events, here are some of the highlights:
- Bromham Pudding Run (7 CRC runners)
- DB Max Chilly Run (5 CRC runners)
- DB Max Westonbirt Christmas Run (8 CRC runners)
- WORRL at Bath University (2 CRC runners)
- Calne Santa Scamper (no results recorded)
- Park runs (too numerous to mention)
- Plain Crazy run at Warminster (1 CRC runner)
Many of you got 1st places and we understand a lot of you got PBs. What an achievement for all your hard work over the year! Well done!
Don’t forget it’s not too late to sign up for the final four races of the Wiltshire Off-Road Race League (WORRL) 2025/26. The full fixtures can be found on the Wiltshire Athletics website, see below for the brief details. Let’s fill them up with purple!
