In what turned out to be a scorcher of a day club members took part in the Langley Burrell ‘Lightning Bolt 10K’ race to gain further points for the club in the ongoing Wiltshire Road Race League battle. The course is advertised as mainly flat, with an elevation of just 14 meters and is now known as one of the fastest 10K races in the country, perfect for gaining a new PB in the picturesque countryside.
Luckily, fellow club members were on hand to provide support (and hydration) for us as we took on the race…
