Thursday Training
Thursday Night training sessions are the go to session to get fitter, faster, stronger and leaner!
The sessions are structured effort sessions targeted at getting the most out of yourself whether you are a total beginner or an experienced runner. The sessions are organised by our club UK Athletics qualified coaches Denise and Simon Nott .

Meeting at Beversbrook Sports Facility every Thursday at 18:50hrs for a prompt 19:00hrs start.
Try us out for a few weeks prior to paying any membership money (£25 per year) and become a member of our friendly community.
What the sessions involve
Thursday night sessions are targeted at all abilities and are meticulously planned to get the most out of everybody. They vary from interval sessions (higher intensity work followed by rest), longer sessions, enjoyable sprint sessions, sessions incorporating strength and conditioning and much more!
The joy of these sessions is that you will get out of them what you put in and they are key to developing your level of fitness, while also enabling all our runners to take the sessions at their own pace.
Rather than schedule the training programme week by week on the website we will publish the Thursday night training session on our Facebook page the night before only. This way we can keep the training more spontaneous and appropriate for your target races and goals.
If anyone wants additional sessions to do on another day of the week to complement that week’s Thursday night session, please feel free to contact Denise (Club Coach). We are more than happy to help out with training plans for specific race goals as well.
