Training
We meet twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If you’re thinking of becoming a member, you’re welcome to join us for a few weeks to try the club out.
Outside of our designated club nights, members are always getting together to train, from speed sessions to longer weekend social runs. These are advertised on an ad-hoc basis in our members-only Facebook group.
There will always be something for everybody – join us and get involved!
Tuesdays: Social runs
Enjoy the Wiltshire countryside with us on our friendly social runs. Starting from a different location each week, we have various groups organised by ability. Each group is led by a minimum of one qualified leader, with a tail runner allocated to each group.
We encourage people to push themselves or to go in whichever group they would like to join. The groups have been designed to roughly keep runners in more compact groups to make them safer, easier to lead and more social. However, varying paces in each group will always occur, especially as people push themselves from one group to another. Enabling people to run with people of similar abilities maximises enjoyment while maintaining safety and making sure nobody gets lost or left behind.
All abilities are catered for and nobody is left behind!
We meet at 6:50pm for a 7pm start. Join us at the following locations:

Thursdays: Structured training sessions
Thursday night training sessions are the go-to sessions to get fitter, faster, stronger and leaner!
Meet us at Beversbrook Sports Facility every Thursday, at 6:50pm for a prompt 7pm start.
Led by our club UK Athletics qualified coaches Denise and Simon Nott, the sessions are targeted at getting the most out of yourself whether you are a total beginner or an experienced runner.
The sessions incorporate a variety of training methods from interval training, speed and tempo work. Sometimes including strength and conditioning training, these sessions are key to developing you level of fitness, whilst also enabling runners to take the sessions at their own pace.
Denise and Simon also coach athletes on a 1:1 basis upon request. Utilising years of experience, and qualifications gained, they are more than happy to coach you to your next running goal, be that striving for a sub 2:20 marathon or achieving your first 5k.
